Equipment Rental Terms and Conditions

Collection and Return of Equipment

All rental equipment will be inspected together with the renter before the rental period begins. During the inspection, the condition and functionality of the equipment will be verified, and the renter will receive any necessary instructions for its safe and proper use.

The renter agrees to return the equipment at the agreed time and in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental period, allowing for normal wear and tear.

The renter may be required to provide proof of identity when collecting rental equipment.

Renter's Responsibility

The renter is responsible for the rental equipment throughout the entire rental period. The renter agrees to use the equipment carefully, only for its intended purpose, and in accordance with all instructions and safety guidelines provided.

The renter is liable for any damage resulting from:

• Negligent or careless use

• Use contrary to the provided instructions

• Loss of the equipment

• Intentional damage

 

Damage, Loss, and Breakage

Any damage, loss, or breakage must be reported to Haukkamaa Adventures without delay.

The renter is responsible for the costs of repairing any damaged equipment. If the equipment cannot reasonably be repaired, the renter is liable for the replacement value of the equipment.

Minor marks and wear resulting from normal and intended use will not be charged separately. Haukkamaa Adventures will assess the extent of any damage and determine any compensation costs on a case-by-case basis.

 

Late Returns

If the equipment is not returned at the agreed time and no prior arrangement has been made regarding the delay, Haukkamaa Adventures reserves the right to charge an additional fee for late return.

 

Safety

The renter uses the equipment at their own risk and is responsible for ensuring that their physical condition, health, and skill level are suitable for the safe use of the equipment.

Equipment will not be rented to persons who are under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
