Located in Ruovesi, the Siikaneva Mire Reserve is the largest continuous mire area in Pirkanmaa. Snow-covered boardwalks, vast open landscapes, and ancient pine forests create an unforgettable nature experience in the heart of the Finnish wilderness. Depending on snow conditions, the tour is conducted either on snowshoes or on foot. It is an excellent choice for nature lovers, small groups, corporate recreation days, and anyone looking for a peaceful escape from everyday life. Along the way, you will learn about the unique features of winter mire ecosystems, discover animal tracks in the snow, and hear fascinating stories about the history and nature of Siikaneva. Your guide is Petri, an experienced wilderness guide with extensive knowledge of the area's nature and wildlife. During the tour, we enjoy a relaxing campfire break featuring traditional campfire coffee, grilled sausages, and fresh bread rolls in a beautiful winter setting. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and Booking Terms Individual Bookings (1–9 Participants) • Cancellations are free of charge if made at least 7 days before the start of the service. • If a cancellation is made less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before the start of the service, 50% of the booking price will be charged. • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the service, as well as no-shows, will be charged in full (100%). Group Bookings (10 or More Participants) • Cancellations are free of charge if made at least 14 days before the start of the service. • If a cancellation is made less than 14 days but at least 5 days before the start of the service, 50% of the booking price will be charged. • Cancellations made less than 5 days before the start of the service, as well as no-shows, will be charged in full (100%). Cancellation Procedure • All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email or through another agreed communication channel. • Cancellation periods are calculated from the scheduled start time of the booked service. Weather Conditions and Provider's Right to Cancel • Haukkamaa Adventures reserves the right to cancel or postpone an activity due to hazardous weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). • In such cases, the customer will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative date. Illness • In cases of illness, refunds or rescheduling may be considered on a case-by-case basis upon presentation of a valid medical certificate. Changes to Bookings • Any changes to a booking should be communicated as soon as possible. • We strive to accommodate changes to schedules and participant numbers whenever reasonably possible. • Significant changes in the number of participants may affect the final price of the service. Late Arrival • Customers are responsible for arriving at the agreed departure point on time. • Late arrival does not entitle the customer to a refund or compensation.
